The University of Colorado Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, is seeking a full-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our outstanding Congenital Cardiac Anesthesiology team. The CRNA/CAA Anesthetist will play a vital role in providing lifetime specialized anesthesia care to patients with congenital heart disease.
The primary clinical site for this position is Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO), located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. Daily work assignments will vary between cardiac cath lab, radiology, and the cardiac operating rooms. You will be working with a dedicated team of cardiac anesthesiologists, and cardiac anesthetists as part of the Nationally ranked Children’s Hospital Colorado Heart Institute. As a leader in pediatric heart care, our Institute is the largest in the region, treating more than 20,000 patients each year. The standard work schedule for this position is four 10-hour shifts per 1.0 FTE, with no mandatory call requirement, though the option exists to take call for extra compensation.
